Rod Henley
Rod Henley has the “WOW” factor of a Grammy on his resume. He has appeared as one of the “Vocal Group Hall of Fame” icons, The Four Freshmen, on the Grammy Award winning platinum Manhattan Transfer Atlantic CD & video “Vocalese,” and on the Grammy-nominated “Fresh!” & “Freshmas.” Other notable appearances have included: with Tony Bennett, Carl Fontana, and Woody Herman. He arranged for Joan London’s ABC TV Mother’s Day special, Adult Swim jingles for the Cartoon Network and the jingles for “Forever Plaid.” Rod has also performed with and arranged for the Atlanta, St Louis, and Oklahoma Symphony Orchestras.
Rod currently produces and arranges for Worldstage Records, to include four albums by The Jazzmin Vocal Band. Rod edited, arranged and produced the premiere publication of The Four Freshmen music for Anchor Music Publications. Awarded the Doctorate of Musical Arts, he teaches music at the College of Southern Nevada, and has a private brass studio, from which several students have received college music scholarships.
