Description
An early R&B hit for saxophonist Gene Ammons, this swinging mid-tempo blues features lyrics by vocalese originator King Pleasure. Arranger Dylan Pramuk of the Royal Bopsters orchestrates the lyric across the ensemble, including a very bebop soli setting of Gail Brockman’s trumpet solo, as sung by Betty Carter, with additional room to improvise.
