Andy Stermer is a composer, arranger, producer, and drummer based in Miami, Florida. His work spans a range of genres including television, advertising, short film, digital media, choral, jazz, and chamber music. Stermer’s compositions and arrangements have been performed by VocalEssence, Miami Dade College’s Vocal Fusion, the Miami Children’s Chorus, and the University of Miami’s Frost Concert Jazz Band. He received a BM in Jazz Performance from Minnesota State University Moorhead and a MM in Studio Jazz Writing from the University of Miami’s Frost School of Music.
Stermer currently serves as senior composer at Chaliwa Music + Sound, a music and audio production studio in Miami, and co-produces the independent podcast Interesting People Reading Poetry.
