Carey Dyer calls himself a singer who tells stories. He graduated with a Bachelor of Music from Union University and a Master of Arts in Communication from Southwestern Seminary. After 12 years as a professional entertainer in various live music theaters, Carey recently went back to school and earned his board certification in music therapy. When he’s not leading music at his church or practicing music therapy, Carey loves pursuing his passion for vocal composition and arranging. He noted, “Anchor Music has been a great home for many of my vocal pieces. I couldn’t be happier to be included in their catalog.”
Carey also enjoys spending time with his loving wife (Dena) and their two sons. Carey and Dena recently published a book together — Love at First Fight (Barbour Books), a light-hearted devotional book for couples. When he finds a few extra moments, you might catch him watching old Andy Griffith Show reruns and drinking Mountain Dew.
