Eric Hagmann currently resides in Powell, WY where he is the Vocal Music Instructor – Artist in Residence at Northwest College. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree from the University of MN: Duluth in Music Theory/Composition with an emphasis in piano, and a Master’s Degree from the University of Northern Colorado in Jazz Studies with an emphasis in Jazz Voice.
He has performed with UMD’s Lake Effect under the direction of Tina Thielen-Gaffey, UNC’s NoCoVo and Vocal Lab under the direction of Brennan Baglio and Marion Powers, and he had the pleasure of singing a short time with the Phil Mattson Singers. He also spent two years performing with Fermata Nowhere, a self-formed a cappella group made up of students from UMD.
Eric has also hosted the Wyoming Vocal Jazz Academy at Northwest College multiple times. He has arranged extensively for contemporary a cappella and vocal jazz ensembles and has over 45 published scores on Sheet Music Plus.
