From the pen of acclaimed trumpeter and composer John Daversa comes this soaring contemporary wordless jazz composition, from his Artful Joy release. Originally featuring vocalist Gretchen Parlato, Kate Reid arranged it for “Extensions” from the University of Miami, and this tune is a great addition to a set for any experienced to advanced vocal jazz ensemble. Features multiple vocal solos, some written, some improvised.
