Opening with a quasi-Cuban Latin feel, this unique swing arrangement by vocalist/pianist Carol Welsman features multi-meter rhythms with 3/4, 4/4 then 6/8. As recorded by Groove For Thought, this choir setting by Kelly Kunz brings out the fun lyrics. Includes an open section for soloing, either scatting or singing the melody, tempo changes and a unique harmonic presentation with up two six part chords addressed with excellent voice leading. A rare tune appropriate for the holidays or for a spring jazz festival.
