“Route 66” and “Never Wanted Broken” are being used as the audition pieces and repertoire for the ILMEA All State Vocal Jazz Ensemble. We are providing students and teachers the opportunity to download just the vocal score for a discounted price, and that copy of the vocal score is NOT authorized for performance, only for your audition.

You’ll love this beautiful composition by the incredibly talented jazz singer Leonard Patton! This a cappella ballad has a gentle tempo for most of the piece, and features an alto solo (G3-B4) on the second verse. This vulnerable lyric will captivate and move your audience, and doesn’t get overly complicated. You’ll want this moment in your concerts!
