Description

A cheerful, captivating samba by bassist Paul Berner, originally recorded featuring Fee Claassen with the Amsterdam Jazz Quintet. Includes a two octave vocalese on Robert Jan Vermeulen’s piano solo as an additional challenge for a soprano (or alto) vocalist. Ensemble voice leading is very smooth, with periodic three-part splits for the sopranos and altos.

SATB Range: Sop up to Eb5, alto down to B3, tenor up to Eb4, bass down to C3. Vocalese solo range: G3 – Ab5
