Description

Take 6 is one of the most decorated a cappella groups of all time, and their Christmas albums are stunning, beginning with the album “He Is Christmas”. Cedric Dent arranged this classic hymn for that album, and has adapted it here for SSATB concert choir or vocal jazz ensemble.

This arrangement follows the Take 6 version note for note, and is adapted for mixed choir by moving from the key of Eb up to the key of F#. The lowest bass note is D2, but many low notes can be adjusted up an octave, so the lowest bass note needed is F#2.
